Guest Reviews

Steve MurphyThe program was exceptional and very fishing focused with outstanding service and food. Brad Waitman makes the experience very personal and works with each guest to exceed their goals. We were family by the end of the week. I have never seen such dedicated hard working guides., who also made the experience special.

Jim Benke - Brad, in particular, is a rare combo of a great fishing guide who also flies his own plane. Exceptionally experienced!

Gene Starr - Brad and his team are FIRST CLASS Great Large Rainbow fishing

Doug Bland - Going with high expectations, we were not disappointed. Trophy-size rainbows, great guides and top-shelf meals.

Doug Peters - The guides took exceptional care of my wife, Rita who is a relative novice at swinging a fly. The meals were great even for a couple of foodies. The staff was willing to do anything you asked of them.

Bill Wiley - Brad runs a great show! Our group had a super trip.

John Merrifield - WoW! if you guys consider this to be "modest accommodations" and "down to earth", then I know that I have found paradise. Lamb chops, Prime Rib, Crab and Filets, crème brulee, chocolate soufflé, NY cheese cake, all kinds of funky little veggies and appetizers. Fresh linens every day, laundry service of my duds and a mug of hot coffee with a wake-up knock each morning. If it was any better than this, I would have felt terribly uncomfortable. Yes, I am a quality foody and this was a fishing trip. Point is, the personalized service was purely "top shelf". You guys already know about the fishing, especially you David. I fished at least one morning or evening every day off Brad's beach, astounding! Quiet time alone to enjoy a cigar and walk of dinner. While fly-outs are an Alaskan staple and I am definitely glad to have partaken in a few, the Kvichak offers a totally insane fishery. It presented plain stupid fishing and also some great technical fishing (feeding streamers to holding fish that would not take an egg), what a gas! Head hunting for big trout in skinny water is always a rush. Ok, so Thank You, very - very much for hooking me up with Brad. I know I went wild with the exceptional key in scoring Igiugig Lodge and while there is always room for improvement in anyone's game, "A Good" mark would simply be wrong. Fishing Transportation? well, if Brad mounts one of his leather recliners on the bow of one of his flat-bottoms before I return, that just might put him over the top with an exceptional for transportation as well. His Cessna was immaculate and an interesting extension of his persona.
